The organisers of Kolonia Perth and are extremely pleased to welcome your child to our Polish Youth Camp. Our mission is to provide the youth of Western Australia with exciting camps, which are based on Polish Scout camps. We genuinely hope that your child’s experience at camp is one that will create a lifetime of memories for them.
Our camp objective is to provide children with a positive and nurturing environment that allows for the development of their own individual character. We want to provide campers a safe, supervised, structured environment. We have a wide variety of activities this spring to stimulate the physical and emotional development of each child through diverse activities ranging from: themed activities, sports, swimming, arts and crafts and much, much more.

How to Register for Kolonia?
Firstly, each family need to register their expression of interest (EOI) by filling in the online form and secure the place with a deposit payment. Keep in mind we have limited spots available for each camp, after we reach capacity, a waiting list will be available.
Secondly, after an EOI and deposit is received, the Kolonia Perth Administration team will email an online registration form. We ask that you fill out the online registration form in full, taking care to fill out all fields for each child.
Thirdly, the Kolonia invoice will be issued with the information about the payment due date (usually within 30 days) and the Kolonia bank details.
Payment Procedure
Step 1. Deposit (non-refundable)
$50 per child with the lodgement of the registration form. Participants will not be registered without deposit.
Step 2. Remaining Balance (on the nominated due date)
After confirmation of deposit, the camp administration team will email the parent with the remaining balance for the Kolonia participant(s). Kolonia Perth Administration will email remainders for any outstanding fees. If full payment is not made within the specified time, this will mean the child is not participating in the camp.
Medication
Supervisors will administer medication only if:
- Parents complete a medication form that provides authorisation for supervisors to dispense medication with time and dosage
- Prescription medications are in the original container labeled with the child’s name, a date, directions and the physician’s name.
- Medications dispensed will be limited to routine oral ingestion not requiring special knowledge or skills on the part of the supervising leader. NO injections will be administered by the Kolonia staff.
- Medications will be held inaccessible to participants and will be kept separate from food
- If any other medication is going to be given to a child, a parent will be notified prior and permission sought before administration.
Electronic Devices
Mobile phone reception is limited at all camp locations, therefore we cannot promise for daily social media updates. Kolonia’s emergency phone will be available during camp and the number will be distributed prior to camp commencement. If a child wishes to speak to their parent/guardian, contact will be made through the supervising leader. In the same regards, we ask that you do not call the camp location to speak to your child unless it is an emergency. Please do not call your child on their personal mobile as this severely disrupts the camp and other campers. Kolonia Perth has its own mobile phone. The number is 0478 119 127. This mobile phone is active a week before, during, and two weeks after Kolonia. If there is a need or emergency to make contact, parents can refer to the number above and we will respond as soon as possible.

7:45am – Morning Exercise
8:30am – Śniadanie (Breakfast)
9:00am – Activity block 1
12:30pm – Lunch
1:00pm – Activity Block 2
3:30pm – Podwieczorek (Afternoon tea)
4:00pm – Activity Block 3
6:00pm – Obiad (Dinner)
6:30pm – Activity Block 4
9:00pm – Bed time
10:00pm – Lights out
Kolonia Packing List
Participants will need to bring along the following items:
- 8 x T-shirts + 1 x long sleeve
- 5 x Shorts
- 2 x Long Pants
- 2 x Warm jacket or jumper
- 1 x Rain Coat
- 1 x PJ
- 10 x Pairs of Socks
- 10 x Pairs of Underwear
- 3 x Closed sneakers
- 1 x Flip flops for shower
- 1 x Swimming Bathers or Shorts (if weather permits)
- 2x towels – One for Shower and One for River swimming
- Hat, beanie, sunglasses, suncream
- Toiletries:
- Soap, Shampoo, Toothbrush,
Toothpaste, Deodorant, Hairbrush
- Insect repellent (we are in the bush)
- 1x single sheet, 1x Sleeping bag!
- 1x Pillowcase or Pillowif you prefer your own
- Simple stationery: Paper, pen(s) or pencils
- Plastic bag for dirty or wet clothes
- Pocket money (coins preferred ~$35 for Kolonia Sklepik )
